My hotel and my home are each sprinkled with a generous amount of Dale Jenssen detail. Of the six buildings, each has a clever and technically perfect punched tin adornment of some sort: cupbard doors, Chinese hat lights, lamp shades, countertops with runners, shower doors, sconces, outdoor shade panels around my porch that I don’t even know the name for. Her tile work is sophisticated and her bug sconces delightful. Also, Dale gets it done on time. Great communicator. Great installer. Great resource.

My husband and I discovered the fabulous and original metal art of Dale J’s during the annual Bihl Haus On and Off Fred art crawl. We knew that we wanted to incorporate her art into the new home we were building, and decided to contract with her for the sconces that now line the front and back patio of our home. We met with her in person to review our vision, and then exchanged a series of emails with her sketches and revisions until we had reached the perfect variety of sconces. We have rec’d so many compliments over that last two years since they were installed, and they continue to serve us well regardless of extreme sun or rains. Dale’s touch certainly enriched our home, and we are delighted to have used a local artist instead of buying off the shelf versions that were likely made in China. Dale’s a terrific lady and creative soul.
My wife and I have been Dale Jenssen fans from the first time we visited her studio. So when we moved into new quarters and the triangle over the door of our exposed-beam living room was crying out for an arresting piece of art, we approached Dale and offered her the commission. She accepted and designed the space-specific piece called “Leaving on a Jet Plane.” Dale was a joy to work with. She took it to heart when we said we would like the piece to express our love of travel and to compliment the space it would occupy. The piece perfectly expresses our desires and her skill. Thank you, Dale
